A few useful answers.

Can I edit these templates in IDCardCo?

These SVG downloads open in a vector editor that supports SVG. The Android preview has its own bundled templates; importing these website files is not currently supported.

Are they really free?

Yes. You may download, edit and use these original templates for cards issued by your own organisation, including commercial use. The template licence on our Terms page explains redistribution and other limits.

Can I make photo ID cards with these templates?

Yes. In your SVG editor, replace the fictional monogram with a photo you have permission to use. Keep the face clear and check the image at the finished card size. The website does not upload or edit your photo.

Are the PDF samples editable templates?

No. The SVGs are editable single-front designs. The PDF print samples are separate, fixed examples for checking A4 or Letter sheets and double-sided printing.

What size are the files?

Every SVG is set to 85.60 × 53.98 mm in landscape. Check your printer, card holder and supplier requirements before production. A screen preview is not a reliable physical ruler.
